This unit does no HDMI repeating or amplification, so it’s very sensitive to cable lengths on HDMI output 1. Basically unless you install a repeater you’ll get no video unless you use output 2 which is limited to 1080P.

At Steve Wolf we used a $30 Insignia repeater from Best Buy and had no problems at all. We used one at Jeff Frankel and solved his problem. We also used one at Mellen/Wambeke.
