I had problems when using actual physical keypads in Simpl Windows using the RSD. It went better when I used virtual CNX-B12s. I got runaway feedback otherwise.

Duplicate the essential keypads as virtual keypads that are clones of the physical keypads. That way you can change code in the physical keypads and the virtual keypads will automatically reflect the changes and the new functionality will be exported to your AV processor.
